Be A Unicorn

Recently I saw a sign that said, "Always be yourself. Unless you are a unicorn. Then always be a unicorn." I love this because I believe anyone can be a unicorn, especially when it comes to communications. Whether as an individual, a collective of individuals, or a brand, achieving unicorn status is not about perfection. It is about exuding wonder and optimism. It is about triggering paradigm shifts and inviting possibility. Communication unicorns are masters of capturing the imagination of others, turning frustrating problems into exciting challenges, turning fear into growth, and holding sorrow and hardship in a healing and restorative manner. Being a unicorn is not a static state. It is an ongoing quest, and therefore elusive, as all great mysteries are. And mysteries are stories of the best kind. They keep us curious. They keep us wanting more.  I challenge you to channel your inner unicorn and watch what happens next.
